I was born in Brazil. My roots come from Portugal, Afro Brazilian slaves and native South American Brazilian Indians. I have dedicated myself to ceramics pottery jewelers and crafts. I focus my art on influences that remind me of my origins.
I explore ideas, space, texture, surface, design color and form in my art. My art reflects all that is comfortable, mysterious and romantic in nature.
The faces emanate emotions, my feelings and enough energy to create a mood with my sculptures and pottery and etc.., I believe this is what makes possible to touch the emotions of other people. My pieces do not tell their own story, but rather allow the viewer to recognize their own feelings and thoughts. This is way each piece and the experience the viewer has with it is unique and one of a kind.
I graduated from college in Education in Brazil and in Arts in Utah.
