Greetings Friends!
The Niota Fried Green Tomato Festival is scheduled for Saturday September 10, 2016 9 AM till 4 PM, Pancake Breakfast to begin at 6 AM in historical downtown Niota, TN. We are located in SE Tennessee, off I-75 at Niota Exit #56, along Hwy. 11. Niota sits between Knoxville and Chattanooga, Tennessee.
We are now accepting vendor and special event applications and you may request one by contacting me, Tammy Barker, Event Coordinator at (423) 462-5195 or by sending an email to: friedgreentomatofest17@yahoo.com
Currently scheduled for this year's festival is a Petting Zoo, Monster Spider Jumper, and Bounce Houses. We are working on getting The Water Walker, Video Gaming Truck, Pony Rides and a Hot Air Balloon for tethered rides. We are working on a car and tractor show and have plans underway for a Kid's Parade where children dress up in costume, decorate their wheelchairs, walkers, bikes, trikes, wagons or scooters to compete for prizes. There will be a Pet Stomp Parade, a Beauty Pageant for children ages Newborn to 18. Pet, Craft, Art, Business & Food Vendors.

Special Event would be a ride or attraction for adults, children or both.
The festival, now in it's 5th year is held to raise money to restore Tennessee's oldest, standing depot located in downtown Niota, TN. (the center of our festival site).
