Noor wa Layla is made up of a Jordanian-Palestinian and Syrian photographer (Noor) and Jordanian mixed media artist (Layla) who have teamed up to sell our original artworks and prints together. Being queer and from the SWANA world, both of our practices aim to de-center colonial, orientalist views of the SWANA world via actively subverting the 'yellow-filter' often associated with SWANA and illustrate the deep, diverse culture of our region. With a vast array of original projects and pieces made independently and collaboratively, we have amassed a collection of hundreds of prints to share with the world!
