Each year The Northwest Watercolor Society holds an eagerly anticipated exhibition that is open to artists across America and Canada. The NWWS 70th Open Exhibition 2010 will be hosted by the Washington State Convention & Trade Center from April 17 - July 17, 2010. Over $10,000 in cash and merchandise awards are anticipated for this exhibition. Top cash awards are $2000 for first place, $1,250 for second place, and $750 for third place. The reknown California artist Joe Garcia is the elected juror for the exhibition, he will also conduct a NWWS watercolor workshop during the week of April 19 - April 23.
