A seamstress, artist, and floral designer, Kathleen has been crafting for more than 30 years. Ornamentations is the culmination of all she has learned in her crafting career and is the result of her love of crafting and floral design. Her unique sense of style, blend of materials and designs gives buyers a wide selection of hand crafted items for home and holiday.

Crafting is an expression of love. Crafting has been a part of my life ever since my mom introduced me to her sewing machine when I was 12 years old. It was fascinating to watch pieces of fabric and bits of thread come together to shape something unique and special. I fell in love with the colors and textures of fabrics, and materials, constantly looking for opportunities to combine them into amazing things. This infatuation quickly expanded to other types of crafts and I found myself making most of my holiday and special occasion gifts as a way to express my love and gratitude to the wonderful people who surround me everyday. I discovered floral design in the late 1980's and fell in love all over again making permanent floral designs with silk flowers that bring beauty to any occasion or environment. Over the years, I came to realize how much my creations made people happy. That is my inspiration. For me, there is no greater joy than making pieces that make someone smile.
