Oyoyo African Drummers, Aurora, CO
Oyoyo is an African traditional drumming group, with four band members and three dancers. Oyoyo in the Ibo language means beautiful. We have played together for fifteen years. Our first album Oyoyo volume 1, sold out in one month. We have played about 517 gigs since our inception. We have performed for Taste of Colorado, Cherry Creek arts festival, University of Colorado in Boulder etc. We get the audence involved when we play as we bring extra drums and percussion instruments. At the end of our performances people are happy to be involved and we all feel like a big family. Upon request we will bw delighted to send you one of our CDs.
