Repurpose, Reuse, Renew

My business The Red Hen, useing cutting scraps and repurpose them into useful items.

My my focus is mostly the kitchen and home making potholders, kitchen towels, plastic bag holders, decorative pillows as well as women's handbags.

I've had the opportunity to work part-time for a slipcover business, some of my fabrics are left over scraps, such as my Sunbrella which I recreate Plastic Bag holders, or market bags.

I love working with designor fabrics and cottons.

Craft shows are new for me I'm trying to refine my craft and make what many of my customer base would like to see. So I am a work in progress and look forward to see where this new path will take me.

My customers are very important to me, I do not mass produce my items and they are one of a kind. I am always looking for ideas to improve, expand the items I do create.

In my off time I create Custom Memory Bears and Memory Hearts and Memorial Pillows for Grief Share members upon request and participate in sewing for other events held by my church or HOA.
