Don White is a self-taught visual artist whose formal training, experience, and background are in music performance and composing (see the Perfect Mix trio). He is a long time resident of St Paul, Minnesota, is/has been an active member of several local arts organizations (Burnsville, Bloomington, Hopkins, Edina, and served 2 years on the board of the Woodbury Fine Arts Council…)Don has been exhibiting and selling his work since 1992, and has fans in several states. This body of work uses a technique he calls “Improvisational Drawing”; a Method of combining simple hand-drawn line patterns to create complex structures.
