Pet Portraits by Joe Brewer - Eagleville Pa

I work with high quality pastels on 800 grit UArt sandpaper.  The process begins with the customer giving me several photos of his/her pet and we work together to find the best photo to use for the portrait.  After that, I do a layout drawing and send it to the customer for approval.  When the layout is approved, I begin the final artwork.  When I have completed approximately 1/3 of the portrait, I send to the customer for a "Sneak Peak from the Drawing Board."  Upon approval, I finish the work and frame the portrait.  The customer is involved through the whole process, and I will add a collar, toy or background at the customer's request.  If the customer is local, I often meet him/her to deliver.  Otherwise, I send UPS.
