Brady Lee Kennison was born on April 27, 1972 to William Lee Kennison and Lynne ? Bradshaw. William was just out of Vietnam when Brady was conceived. William was a Vietnam War Hero as a Field Medic in his troop. He soon earned a Associates Degree for Respiratory Therapy as Brady's Mother worked as an Insurance Agency in Portland. When Brady was two years old his family moved to Holquim where his Dad worked at the Aberdeen Hospital in Washington State. After several years they moved to Aberdeen Washington across from the Grade School where at six years old Brady attended Kinder Garden and then when he was seven he attended the First Grade there.
Brady had problems in the First Grade and he was held back in that Grade for another year. In between his classes of First Grade during that summer they Moved to Bremerton, WA. The didn't live there long and then moved to Silverdale, WA. It was during this time in Cotton Wood Elementary Brady was noticed by his peers and teachers his Art talent. He was entered into the Kitsap County Fair Grounds Art Contest and he won First Place for his class. It was a color crayon picture of a Scuba Diver in a Photo Copy fish tank. Brady went the length to make a nice crayon picture with a Scuba Diver swimming under water with Clown Fish and Sea Weeds and A Coral Reef jutting up from the bottom of the Fish Tank.
Brady's Mom and Dad enrolled him in Private Art Lessons in the Third Grade with a High School Art Teacher named Erickson. He continued up until the Sixth-Grade taking Private Art Lessons everyday after School.
In the seventh to the twelfth Grade Brady took Art Electives and got his High School Requirements out of the way to have five out of six classes in Advanced Art to Draw, Paint, and Create and Develop on his own. During this Semester Brady was thinking about joining the Marines and was talking to a Marine Recruiting Agent about Joining the Marines and doing drafting for them. He received great scores on his aptitude test. However, Brady learned that there was a local Art College in Town that he could receive a four year Degree in Art.
He was accepted that August to start earning a Bachelor's in Commercial Art that September, Brady had a girlfriend who got pregnant and he also started a Part Time Job at a local Franchise located near the mall.
Brady struggled in Commercial Art and he felt restrained from achieving his dreams of being a Freelance Fine Artist and he felt his grades were not so great as much as his goals were to graduate with some kind of B GPA. They called him into the Administrator's Office and offered him to take the course of earning a Bachelor's in Fine Arts Degree. Brady still struggled to earn his goal GPA, however, he graduated in January of 1995 with a C + GPA.
Brady got his old job back and he had a art show at Coffee Oasis in Bremerton, WA. Brady was busy trying to still create art and work a job and run his art show while his Agent from the Art College once called him in and they discussed Brady making more effort to achieve his goals as a Fine Artist but the Agent was reluctant in providing any services because he said, "I am only a Commercial Art Agent." Also he told Brady that he lacked a lot of computer skills and that he was a no good commercial artist. Which was a fact because Brady didn't learn commercial arts and he was still quite young to get on a commercial arts job and learn computer skills on the job. However, non-the-less, Brady was turned away and felt doomed for ever having to attend that College.
However, Brady went on into Job Corps and he right off the bat Brady was required to take more aptitude tests to see if he was even High School Educated to go on any jobs and he passed through the courses in two weeks and was sent out to a trade and he thought he would make a great Heavy Equipment Operator, however he found much difficulty trying to learn anything about what his instructors were trying to teach him. He had a friend in the Dorm at Fort Simcoe Job Corps and his friend talked him into doing Masonry. Brady singed up for Masonry and he had a wait over until there was a trade student position available so instead of doing nothing Brady took business courses which increased some computer skills and especially his typing speed.
When Brady got into the Masonry trade he felt at home and his instructor thought highly of him. Brady was given a book to read and study and take tests at the end of each chapter and Brady passed ever test with an A as well as he was developing and learning much in the Masonry Trade that he was often awarded for his achievements. He was was allowed to go to Wild Fire Fighter Training where there also he excelled. It was a two week course.
Brady completed Job Corps in February of 1997. In March that year Brady got into trouble with the law Assault in the Third Degree with his old brother was seemed a threat to his family and especially his daughter which was very young at the time.
After jail Brady got into the Apprenticeship for the Seattle Brick Layer's Union Local #1. Brady was not serous about doing this kind of work and somewhat felt disrespected about being forced to work for a living while his Talents got flushed down the toilets.
However, Brady continued to make Art and he got into a little Poetry and then wrote a Short-Story titled "Fateful Death." It was good but not really great at the time, however Brady started taking courses through a online course. He read seven Writer's digest books plus a work book. He read each book and took an online test and received A grades every test as well as turned in a short story between each test displaying what he had learned and received A Grades on every story with great remarks for the teachers who graded them and was encouraged to go on.
Brady quit his Masonry job / was fired mutually, and Brady had no income lost his sanity and was admitted to a Mental Facility.
He was told he had Paranoid Schizophrenia and that he would have to take medication to combat it for the rest of his living life. It was a short stay and right now he has never been admitted for over two weeks and two weeks is all he's been admitted and takes his medication and stays sober. He has two books published and is now producing more Art in the way of doing business.
