The year-round nightly sunset celebration on the iconic Pier 60 is the premier destination for tourists and locals to experience a free, family friendly event featuring artisans, crafters, and street performers every night of the year weather permitting.
The Sugar Sand Festival is produced by the Sunsets Daily Festival as a fundraiser to support the Sunsets at Pier 60 Daily Festival and the educational and community philanthropic efforts. Due to its popularity the Sugar Sand Festival has become a destination event that now runs seventeen days 2020 dates are April 10th-26th! Come experience a 21,000 sq ft museum quality art exhibit made entirely of sand! Master sculptors from around the world transform 1000 tons of sand into SANDTASTIC masterpieces. No two years are ever alike. The highlight of the festival is the Sugar Sand Walk Exhibit; the festival also offers new activities daily plus artists, crafters, street performers, concerts, sweet treat and snack vendors, fireworks, amusements, even a ferris wheel!
