I am a sculptural jewelry artist creating wearable art in fantasy, floral and Steampunk themes. I work in polymer clay which is a man-made sculpting medium with the color already in it. That means I can place just the color I want where I want it while I am sculpting, not as an added finish afterward. Color mixing allows me to create almost unlimited colors and blends. That is not to say that I do not use added color where it will enhance the design. A patina of acrylic paint or a touch of mica powder may be just the thing to finish off a piece. While the vast majority of my work is sculptural jewelry I also make other scuptural art at times.
