Pop-Pop's Gourmet Popcorn manufactures hot-air popped, flavored popcorn in our commercial kitchen located in Midland, MI. We sell our products mainly through our retail store located at 136 Ashman Circle, Midland, MI. We also accept general inquiries, wholesale orders, and individual/special orders, weddings, showers, corporate orders, via email, Web site, or Telephone (989-486-9601).
We offer over 30 varieties of hot-air-popped popcorn topped with handcrafted flavors made from scratch. Care is taken during preparation to prevent cross-contamination of allergens.
Best-selling flavors include Caramel, Cheddar, White Cheddar, Cheddar Blues (cheddar and blue cheese), Double-Chocolate Caramel, Jalapeno Cheddar, White Ghost, Non-Kettle Kettle Korn (named because it's not made in a kettle), Peanut Butter, and Candy Confetti (made using five flavors). We have many more flavors that are created with Vegan, dairy-free, and devilishly spicy palettes in mind.
The store grew from a home-based operation under the Cottage Laws of Michigan that started in May of 2011. Gene and Pat began making gourmet popcorn to sell at local farm markets under the name "Pop-Pop's Gourmet Treats." The company was named in honor of Gene's dad, who was lovingly called "Pop Pop" by his grandchildren. Following that tradition, Gene is also called "Pop-Pop" by his grandchildren.
