The Port Barre Lions Club is a non-profit service organization that works to improve the lives of others. Our major yearly fundraiser is the Port Barre Cracklin Festival.  Funds raised by our festival help us provide the following:
  • Collecting used eyeglasses for recycling and reuse
  • Conducting vision screenings for area youth
  • Providing funding to Leader dogs for the blind
  • Promoting eye tissue donations
  • Supporting the mission of the Louisiana Eye Foundation
  • Supporting the Louisiana Lions Camp for special needs children
