R B is a Colorado Based Solo / Christian / Singer / Songwriter / Acoustic performer. Most recently, he has performed at Red Rocks Amphitheater (Run the Rocks Lung Cancer Awareness Event,) The Tumbleweed Music Festival, Colorado Dragon Boat Festival, Glendale Folk and Heritage Festival, Pinoy Fiesta, Denver Art Society and Roxy Theater Denver, as well as pending notification from The Tucson Folk Festival and 2024 Tucson Festival of Books.
R B is a multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Florida, went to high school in Maryland and joined the Navy in '92 & is now a retired Chief. He has been happily married since 1999. Several years ago, friends who were on the same ship taught R B the major guitar chords. While stationed in the UK,
R B played gigs, mostly open mic nights, with pals J J, Matt and Brian. He was also rhythm guitarist for the band J J Ryan. Eventually, R B recorded several full length albums as well as EPs. HIs live performances consist of original songs, cover tunes and instrumentals.
In 2008, R B went through some life changing medical problems, which his inspired many of his songs. His hope is that the music gives whoever listens hope during hard times.
