I am a face painter/ caricature artist at the festivals. I use snazaroo face paints, which are a makeup based paint that goes on wet but when dry cannot be felt by the wearer. No crackly paint, no cranky kids. I do not want to create any art that is painful for the wearer, especially a child. I am in the process of adding little rhinestones as detail decorations. I do full face, half face and cheek designs. Depending on the detail each face can take any where from 2 minutes to ten minutes to complete. People have been known to wait 45 minutes in line for my services.
I am a fine artist by degree. If available I bring my hand cast, beaded wire jewelry to sell. I also might bring my grasaille black and white landscape paintings that I have already painted at home to finish the color wash layer at the festival to sell.
