My goal is to take scrap/unwanted metal and re-purpose it into something functional and pleasing to the eye. I do this by salvaging for the steel/metal/copper and then reforming it in the very primitive forge, no coal is used. Just wood. Yes, this does take longer, but I think the energy input into reusing our valuable resources is more than worth it. I make small items such as amulets, pendants, key chains etc. I craft unique one of a kind housewares item like hooks, holders, scoops, dishes, bowls, etc. as well as larger items like cooking tripods, portable grills, bird feeders and more. If you have something particular in mind, I would enjoy working with you to help create that one of a kind special item. Several times a year I offer classes in learning Primitive Blacksmithing.
