Recycled Jewelry By Regina/reunique Boutique, Boise, ID
I started recycling jewelry in 1990 creating one of a kind brooches, earrings, picture frames, barretts and necklaces. I was living on the eastcoast at that time and participated in several art festivals and won several awards for my creations.
I moved to Boise, Idaho in 1997 and left my boxes of findings packed away for several years, while exploring the great wilderness of my new home.
In August of 2010 my jewelry passion was rekindled and the boxes came out of storage and my studio came to be.....luckily, my husband and I had just purchased a very small cabin in Cascade, Idaho and this became my jewelry making refuge. No tv...beautiful views of the mountains...peace, quiet....and hours and hours of creating jewelry. I get so lost in it...all nighters are not uncommon....once I start, I can't pull away from my table. The mind shuts down....and the process begins.
I have jewelry in a store in Boise - Forget-Me-Not, a wonderful antique store in Hyde Park, in the NorthEnd. I also participate in local art festivals around town.
