Festival biz experience: 11+ years
I am a retired art instructor after teaching on the High School, Junior college, and University level, with a BSE in Art Education and MA in Art Education in Wichita, Kansas.
I now teach Fiber and Textile workshops in my home along with growing plants to teach the dying of natural fibers from my grounds.
I have an additional background in Plant Biology and teach gardening and landscaping. I grow succulents and cactus that I sell in my ceramic fired pots.
My partner, is Derek Miller, BFA, a Graduate of The Kansas City Art Institute, Painter. He specializes in unusual hand made pottery plant containers and ceramic birdhouses. He is also a Landscape Gardener.
We also include antiques in our art creations but we do not sell any items that are retail.
*Note: Our succulents are only seasonal.
