The Community Service Ministry of the Redding Adventist Church assists families with emergencies. An emergency could consist of needing food, gas for a car, utility payment, bus ticket, Motel room, or a numerous other emergencies.
Donations are given by the wonderful members of our church. Even though the members are more then generous there is seldom enough money to assist all the people that call. We need to raise more money to allow us to assist more people in our community.
The Lord is guiding us in our endeavor to open a thrift store. To do this we are having a huge fund raiser Sunday, May 23, 2010 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Lake Redding Park.
There are so many families having a difficult time. Please keep them and our Community Service Ministry in your prayers.
