Fashion Design and creativity has been a passion of mine my whole life. Two years ago, I was told I could no longer work full-time, therefore, I have taken the time to focus on creating jewelry & duplicating crochet patterns, freezing beautiful images in my photography. My disability has allowed me to create designs unusually defined as "Statement pieces". Each design comes as a set because I hate having to shop for hours if not months trying to find the perfect earrings.
My neighbor is what some call a Rock Hound. She'll spend hours in a canyon or mineral show finding the right rock to uncover the most beautiful gemstones. She has taught me some of her expertise in grinding, shaping and polishing my own Cabachons for my bead embroidery pieces. I am still quite new at this so I still get the Jaspers and Obsidians or various Turquoise confused. Likewise with the quartz and other clearer stone's mixed up.
