Rugged Revival Home Goods Rescue.Reclaim.Recharge.Renew
I'm passionate to rescue historic woods and metals and transform them into unique, one-of-a-kind home goods and gifts. My locally sourced materials are handpicked by me and come from agricultural, residential and commercial sources. What would otherwise end up in a landfill or burn pile in the back forty, I am passionate to protect. Like the rings in a tree trunk tell its age, the depth of the grain, nail holes, weather and wear in barn wood, beams, and metals from years of practical use have stories to tell. What was once sturdy and strong enough to house the heritage of tools and tractors to turn the dirt, or house hay for the herd, yet soft enough to host the family to witness the serene exchange of wedding vows on the family farm. I pay top dollar for historic organic matter. I carefully rescue the metals and woods, reclaim the material, recharge the patina and lustre and renew the product into beautiful, handcrafted gifts and home goods. From Minneapolis, to Vernon Center, Winnebago to Winona, Olmsted County to rural Freeborn, Wells and Easton, Kasota, MN to Kickapoo County WI to St. Ansgar, Osage and Charles City Iowa.
Every inch tells a story. Built for another purpose, to last another life!
