Ryan Cureton is an artist from Union County, Monroe North Carolina. Ryan has been drawing since holding his first pencil. As a young aspiring artist Ryan enjoyed drawing cartoons and unique designs. As an 8th grader at Monroe Middle School, Ryan was chosen to design two logos for his school pep club and graduation program. As Ryan enter Monroe High School he was able to take drafting classes which opened a whole new world of creativity! Drafting increased Ryan's abilities as a designer and later lead him to employment as a window treatment designer. Over the last 19 years Ryan has worked as a designer and has even been featured in national and international publications. In 2000 when Ryan received an art kit as a Christmas gift he began watercolor painting then moving to acrylic and oils before discovering acrylic as his meduim of choice. Currently Ryan is a mixed medium artist working with watercolor, acrylic, oil, wood and fabric.
