Mixed media has always held my heart.  I love pushing boundaries and trying new techniques and experimenting with new materials.  Encaustic has become my inspiration, I look forward to going into my studio and the smell of warm wax.  The semi-controlled movement when you mix the colors and heat the wax to fuse the painting is something I will never tire of.
