We create and sell signs made from upcycled and reclaimed wood. We purchase most of our materials from Habitat for Humanity ReStores in the Mid-Michigan area. We are a family business--our mom, Sara Beauchamp-Hicks is the designer and manager of the chaos. There are five kids in our family. Lexi, Beau, Shane and Cooper have been working on signs all fall. Our sister McKenna is on an exchange in India but will be joining us in May 2018. We all attend school in St. Johns, Michigan. Our dad, Troy Hicks helps manage and organize the financial end of the business, along with loading and unloading the van for shows! #FabFiveDesign was started as a way to earn money for our band, choir trips and foreign language trips. The money we earn goes in to our savings accounts to help offset the upcoming cost of trips to Hawaii, Chicago, France and so much more! The kids mainly measure, cut, sand and build the sign bases. Sara handles the designs. Each of us has our own little thing we enjoy. In the end, the best part of starting this business has been working together and sharing creations with people. It is a special thing to be able to create something for someone to give as a gift or hang in their home. Thank you for supporting us!
