The international Chalk Festival celebrates a 400 year old European tradition of pavement art and new innovations such as 3D illusions. Artists use the pavement as a canvas the chalk as a medium to create oversized masterpieces while the public can see the act of creation. Artists ravel from all over the world to be here, transforming the pavement into a 'Museum in Motion' of fine art. This is an entirely artistic experience that draws around 40,000 visitors from all over. We have vendors, food trucks, beverages and Arts & Crafts as well as public interactive areas.
