My name is Kathryn Gardner, but I use the working name Kathleen Shay. I am a self-taught artist specializing in watercolor and pencil portraits, but also offer watercolors and fine photography.
The most exciting work I have been engaged in lately has been watercolor portraits, a natural progression after years of perfecting pencil portraits. When not doing portraits I have been branching into southwest style watercolors.
My more developed portrait collections include children, patriots, 'glimpses of humanity'- casual pencil portraits of everyday people, as well as a western and animal series
This diversity is also reflected in my photography.
I have a website, serendiptiyarts.biz, which is regularly updated with new work, and my work is offered for sale there. At this time I am offering signed prints of my artwork and photography in various sizes as well as greeting cards and magnets. DVDs of slideshows and videos of the ocean and waterfalls are also available.
I am interested in fine art venues, juried shows, art shows and the arts market in general.
