Sew Colorful Designs was founded in 2009 by Andie Atkinson in Troy, Ohio as a way to combine her lifelong love of handmade art with the desire to own her own business. A longtime quilter, Andie was introduced to handmade greeting cards by a scrapbooking friend of hers. Staying at home with her second child, Andie quickly mastered making greeting cards and was encouraged by her friend to post them on Etsy. Within months she had a burgeoning online business selling greeting cards, blank notecard sets, and more.
Enlisting the talents of other great artists, including her mother and inspiration Virginia Pecinovsky, Andie's Sew Colorful Designs now offers a wide selection of handmade items including greeting cards, microwave heating pads and ice packs, designer magnets, and decorative monogram letters.
