Sharon Bousquet & The Sugar Maples perform both original and select cover music in the Americana, a cappella, Instrumental and Soulful Folk genres. Ms. Bousquet also performs solo under her own name as a singing acoustic guitarist and a triple threat: a gift of a voice, stellar songs and deep skill on the guitar. Last year, Ms. Bousquet dreamed this top-notch vocal trio with two other women singer-songwriters from the Wilmington, Delaware area who are equally skilled on their instruments, creating The Sugar Maples: Erin, Sharon & Sky. Erin Magnin (half of the award-winning duo The Honey Badgers) and Skyler Cumbia (rising harmony-singing instrumental genius with a new release this month) fill out the rest of the astonishing talent in TSM. Sharon Bousquet and The Sugar Maples are currently booking 2025-'26 with a focus for the trio on events this April and in the Fall of 2025 and solo Bousquet shows beginning this March '25.
Singing Guitarist Sharon Bousquet is the Music Director for the Center for Spiritual Living Delaware, a teaching center providing spiritual community that supports personal growth. She has been a working professional musician for 3 decades founding award-winning bands in the Midwest and Canada. Sharon has 7 albums in her discography as well as two successful compilation CD projects to benefit the Vancouver Children's Hospital and women's shelters. Immediately upon moving back to Wilmington from a long stint in Iowa, Bousquet was a finalist in the Philly Songwriter's Contest (2016) and Musikarmageddon Song Contest (2017) before beginning work at CSL. Sharon Bousquet teaches guitar privately with a focus on empowering girls and women, and leads a holistic singing/self-expression workshop called The Singing Body Seminar.
