One day I was cleaning out a closet and found a box of old Jewelry pieces and a box of Crystals I had “planed on using” someday. As I looked at those boxes I thought to myself “What if I put this on that?” Using my husbands ship model tools and old wire I found, I sat down at a table and started to design. As each piece became finished, I hung them in a window. They were “not bad” . Pretty soon my window was full of different shapes and colors. My husband asked “what are you going to do with those?” I replied: “I guess I could try selling them, maybe someone else thinks they are nice.” So, I went to a local farmers market with 5 pieces and displayed them on an old window hoping someone would buy one. I figured if I sold at least one, I would return the next week and try again. When one piece sold I created another, and another. Each piece was unique and a challenge, no two were alike. I eventually went to a craft shop and bought proper supplies and tools and really got creative. I needed more! “I have finally found my niche” I thought. I was on the hunt for more crystals and items to bedazzle. I searched through friends jewelry boxes, hunted for treasures in thrift shops, craft shops and antique stores. I even went through my yard to see if there was anything there calling to me. I found on-line sellers of crystal pendants and beads where I could buy even more supplies. My motto became “Every Window Deserves a Piece of Jewelry” That was over 10 years ago. Since this meager beginning I have created hundreds of One-of-a-kind pieces of “Window Jewelry” using the highest quality Crystals I can find.
