After I retired from years and years as a public school teacher and university faculty member, I found myself searching for something creative that I loved to do.  After many attempts making and selling other products, I started experimenting with embellishing and decoupaging shells, and living in the Wilmington, NC, area gave me access to the shells I need to keep my business going.  The papers I use for the decoupaged shells are largely from Europe, and I custom design some of the tissue papers that are used. Painted shells are hand-painted, and colors mixed using acrylic paints.  All shells are sealed for long lasting beauty.
