Lawrence and Cooper Inc. owns and manages the property in Glens Falls known as The Shirt Factory.
The Shirt Factory operated as a men's shirt factory (adding womens dresses later) from 1902-1996. Since 1999 it has been home to variety of artists and small businesses. Since 2001, there have been annual vendor events held at the property. The number and variety of events has evolved over time, today we have multiple indoor and outdoor arts and artisanal events throughout the year. These events range in size and focus, all are held on our property and work with the existing shops and artists to create cohesive, complimentary offerings.
We are always seeking vendors with unique high quality handmade items from individuals, and do not admit chain or MLM vendors.
We are also always seeking unique food vendors as well as demonstrations and activities.
Our events are well marketed locally and well attended by folks looking for something different. It is not unusual for our events to draw attendees from an hours drive away or more. Our larger events will typically attract multiple thousands of visitors per day. Our smaller events range from several hundred attendees to ~1,000 attendees.
