“At first I thought I was traveling to Rome to shoot a musical production,” Sidow explains. “But the energy I felt… it was as if I had been summoned by Rome itself—by its divine mythic presence—to awaken something dormant inside me. Only a place like this, so rich in history, could do that.”
More than just a performance, the project reflects the couple’s shared creative fire. The video’s concept was crafted by Richard Sidow-Sobrino, Sidow’s husband and creative collaborator.
“This musical production needed to correlate with the lyrics to our hit song,” Richard shares. “The best way that could have been done was to film in Rome. We captured its essence!”
From the majestic Colosseum to the quiet corners of cobbled alleys, the couple brought ROME-ANTICS to life over several weeks abroad.
“Our collaborations have been amazing,” Richard adds. “But to actually walk hand in hand on cobblestones that Julius Caesar walked on was befitting for myself and The World’s No.1 Superstar™.”
Then, softly, with emotion, he whispered, “My husband.”
The video’s tone blends history and modern pop spectacle—placing Sidow not just in front of the camera, but in direct dialogue with the past.
“This is where the greatest once stood,” Sobrino reflects. “I’m a modern deity ascending through their souls, guided by their spirit echoes.”
