The story is set in Miami Beach, Florida, while the production was shot on location in Laguna Beach, California. A dark séance summons forces from above and below, opening the gates to a procession of prospective beauties drawn into the Sorcerer's realm. Each arrives with the same ambition: captivate its sovereign and carry the child who will inherit his throne.
At the center of the intrigue stands Balthazar, the Royal Butler, portrayed by Sobrino's husband, Richard. Neither passive observer nor conventional servant, Balthazar operates as confidant and accomplice, assisting his master as the selection unfolds. Richard also contributes background vocals to the recording.

The visual marks another departure within Seminal. Rather than binding its songs to a uniform aesthetic, Sobrino allows each to assume its own identity. This chapter belongs to mysticism and royal pageantry, creating a setting where seduction becomes strategy and desire exists alongside the question of succession.
"Knowing I was playing Balthazar was exciting because it let me step into a new, sinister, villainous role," said Richard, the star's husband. "Filming those beach scenes in front of a crowd reminded me how blessed I am to be an actor."
"Under Your Spell" follows "Dangerous Joy," Sobrino's LGBTQ+ anthem whose music video received multiple Honorable Mentions at film festivals in India.
