It's been 1 1/2 years since I graduated from the National Holistic Institute. I've done some volunteer work, had a few interviews, and made a few half-hearted attempts to start a private practice-- now it's time to buckle down and get some work.
Fairs and festivals are nothing new to me. My parents met at a Rennaissance Faire where they were both working; my first job was helping my dad out in his booth at various county fairs. A new phrase may yet enter the lexicon-- "fair brat", and I will wear the designation proudly. Still, I've never had my own booth at a festival, never had to do all the work of registering and applying for permits and setting up and working all day.
Won't this be exciting!
