I started making jewelry in2004 after my cat ate through my Turquoise necklace. I have always sewed, and created. My first machine was an old treadle Singer. As I always worked s2nd or 3rd shift, I was able to work unless a big truck needed help. The Drivers made great customers, also. Many bracelet sets covered their forgotten anniversary and birthdays. After retirement, I got more into sewing, again. Also had a Granddaughter with an AG doll. Most of my stuff is one off, but, you can't always do that.
My only complaint with the newcomers, they don't seem to charge for the time they work. I was lucky. I had a very good Teacher, for that side.
