SINCLAIR WATERCOLOR ARTIST
Grew up in California the land of wonderful landscapes to paint.
Attended University of California in Berkeley, California.
Some of my paintings from the 1970’s are living in Germany.
During a period of time I stopped painting. Then in the 1980’s while living in Venezuela, I once again was grabbed with art.
So I created paintings for a period of time in oil and acrylics while living in Venezuela, Florida and North Carolina. Most of my paintings were burned in an emotional fire, then I stopped painting for another short time.
When moving back to California, I was introduced to watercolor painting, one of the most difficult mediums, which I was never exposed to before. I found it to be my medium, the transparency and the flow of the water and paint engulfed me to no end.
Watercolors are transparent, flowing, clean and bright which makes it the most grand of all mediums. It is such a joy to have water and paint mix to create emotion on paper.
