We are planning a fundraiser in September to celebrate Sioux City’s new downtown museum location.
Our goal is to create a signature festival. An event that would promote interest in Sioux City’s past while showcasing the new facility and informing the public about future restoration plans for the Peirce Mansion.
The main event would be a barbeque ribs competition held downtown on the plaza in front of the new museum. This would include a People’s Choice competition, with prizes awarded by local celebrities serving as judges. Additional plans are in the works to ensure an enjoyable family event for all.
