Product Liability Insurance

posted April 2, 2009   category » Product Liability Insurance

Just wondering if anyone would share where is a good place to look for product liability insurance? Mine is coming up for renewal in a few weeks and it is pretty high. Checked with my homeowners and they won't cover because I manufacture the products. Thanks

Hi! I'm new here. Any words of wisdom from the old hands at finding good craft fairs, flea markets, etc. There are sooo many, it can be overwhelming. Thanks

My first suggestion is define WHO you want to sell to and under what conditions your product looks best (the way you display it, space you use, etc.) Then look at how far you want to travel and when you most want to, or can, do it. From there you simply look at all of the up-to-date calendars for the when and where of it and read all you can about what's available. You are right about the search being huge. I'd start with the ones you've been to as a visitor and think about how you judged them. Then start making checklists. Talk to other craftsmen about specific shows or shows they'd advise you to do. Don't just talk to people who do what you do, and always separate flea markets from good craft fairs when you speak, please! There is a place for both, but NOT together! Kathleen
