Snow* by Carol Snow, Loveland, CO
Carol Snow is a certified tribal artisan of the Seneca Nation of Indians. She is an award winning artist with over 100 paintings and drawings published in books, magazines, calendars and cards. She has won Best of Division, Best of Category, first, second and third place awards at American Indian art shows throughout the Rocky Mountains. One of her favorite shows is the world renowned Santa Fe Indian Market which is held during August every year. She participates in other juried shows as well. She most often works with Animal, American Indian and Western motifs, using realistic, whimsical and contemporary primitive styles. Her current favorite technique is mixed media, especially those images that incorporate altered metals. She is also a published poet and writer.
