Spinning Glass Studio
Having been a fiber artist for 20 years something magical happened when I started incorporation beads onto my fiber work. The shiny smooth glass spoke to me and I began reading and learning everything I could about making glass beads. That was 6 years ago. I spend hours at the torch, getting lost in every bead, working on new designs, color combinations and shapes.
I make my own ear wires by hammer sterling silver. I’ve been working on mixed media jewelry pieces with hand dyed ribbon, brass and gun-metal wire. I like my beads to tell a story, to communicate to the wearer something magical and meaningful.
All lampwork beads are made by me in my studio and are annealed overnight for maximum long life and durability.
