I am an award winning artist originally from the Chicago suburbs, now living in the southwest. My inspiration comes from the beautiful surroundings of the desert, in which I focus on the gold of the brass, the reds and rust color of copper which in turn becomes a 3-dimensional original piece of jewelry. Not to forget my midwest upbringings, my silver metals, steel, aluminum, and sterling, become an urban representation, and the strength and power from which I have within me. All of the jewelry are original, innovative designs, quality made from raw materials. I use several techniques from fold forming, piercing, casting and cold connection using different metals, found materials and leather. The color of the metal is changed by heat altering techniques and patinas to coincide well with the stones. Constantly improving, evolving and using new techniques is how I am moving forward.
