“This Side Up Blues Band” is based in Orange County, with solid fan base in L.A and Orange counties. “This Side Up Blues Band” is a collection of experienced and seasoned musicians that have blended their unique styles of jazz, blues and funk to provide the listener with a repertoire of songs, which may be characterized as West Coast Blues.
Performances have drawn appealing audience reaction as “This Side Up Blues Band” presents material that is considered mainstream by such artists as Little Charlie and the Night Cats, Lynwood Slim, Mitch Kashmar, local artist Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers, that the listener will find refreshing and exciting. Knowing many audiences appreciate standard blues faire, “This Side Up Blues Band” also performs many familiar songs from the likes of Buddy Guy, B.B. King and Eric Clapton.
“This Side Up Blues Band has shared the stage such performers as the legendary bluesman Charlie Musselwhite, Rod Piazza, Johnny Winter, Robin Ford, and many more. At concert venues throughout Southern California. We also have played regularly for the City of Mission Viejo at their 4th of July fireworks show, and other “Concerts In The Park”, type venues.
