About Veronica
Veronica Bailey first put her knowledge of period fashion to usemaking special costume pieces for the Vermont Renaissance Faire. In 2004 she joined Pastimes Entertainment as staff costumer, putting her skills to use clothing actors for productions set in medieval England (the King Arthur Festival), revolutionary France (the Three Musketeers Faire) and colonial America (the New England Pirate Faire).
In 2005 Veronica joined the Connecticut Renaissance Faire as staff costumer for King Arthur’s Fall Harvest Festival. After three seasons she left to focus on establishing Storied Threads, but returned for the 2010 season, which saw the debut of CTRF’s Robin Hood Springtime Festival.
Many of Veronica’s pieces began life as specialty costume pieces for shows, which continue to inspire her more unique designs.
Veronica lives in Massachusetts with her husband Michael, their bulldog Beatrix, and their cats Riley, Panther, Pippen, and Molly.
About Storied Threads
Most dealers in medieval and Renaissance garb sell mass-produced items, but each Storied Threads garment is hand-crafted by Veronica herself and truly one-of-a-kind. No two items are alike, which means when you buy a Storied Threads creation, you can be sure you’ll never run into someone else wearing the same piece.
Storied Threads gladly accepts custom orders, from personalized modifications to stock items, to brand-new and fully customized versions of our garments, to brand-new designs made to the customer’s specifications.
Whether you need clothes for a faire, live-action role-playing, historical re-enactment, or even a wedding, Storied Threads can make your fantasies a reality.
