The centerpiece of Stroll Weekend is the world-famous Strolling of the Heifers Parade, which starts at 10 a.m. sharp, Saturday, June 4 on Main Street, Brattleboro, VT. The parade features up to 100 heifer calves, bedecked in flowers and led by future farmers, followed by cows, bulls, horses, goats, poultry, floats, tractors, bands, clowns, and much, much more! When the parade is over, the crowd follows the parade to the 11-acre Slow Living Expo, a festival of food, arts, and entertainment. The Slow Living Expo features local art including paintings, jewelry, clothing, metalwork, home decor, and other unique finds. If strolling with the heifers leaves you hungry, our festival's many food vendors are here to help; there is sure to be something for every appetite. For entertainment while you eat, you will have your pick of theater, music, circus arts, and the Goat Olympics. We look forward to seeing you in Brattleboro, VT!
