I have been painting for 45 years. . I began doing arts and craft shows in 1982. I did oil painting on wood, metal, glass, most anything. Country  scenes. After a few years I began to do wholesale markets. Then I switched my medium to acrylics for quick drying time to be shipped. Also changed to Victorian style painting. White washed wood with painted roses. This became a huge business and very enjoyable. Then I. 2000 I decided to retire from shows and traveling all over the Midwest. Still painting, but teaching it. I love to teach others what I have learned through my many years of painting. Just last fall a got the desire to do craft shows again at the age of 74. I am enjoying it very much. Back painting with oils mostly and doing those country scenes again and painting on anything that holds still.
