Susan Pearson - Mulliken, MI

I am a student of fine arts and education at Lansing Community College in lansing, Michigan. I have been studying traditional fine art techniques since the age of 5. My first set if oil paints was given to me by my grandmother. She always encouraged us to use our creativity, especially in the visual arts. Now I am studying to become a highschool art teacher in the hope that I can inspire my students to see and think in new ways.

Most of my college work has been in printmaking but I am also a painter and have studied computer graphics. I put a large emphasis on design principles when I work because content is so easily misinterpreted without good design to bring it together.
