I have designed Rube Goldberg styled machines to allow kids to be entertained while building a finished product. Items range from decorative designs to edible products. My booth is set up in such a way that the kids take charge in a hands on operation to create the items, through bicycle powered whimsical machinery, or machinery powered via a teeter totter, in strange and unusual ways. It is kind of like Dr. Suess meets Willy Wonka in a exciting sort of way. Kids love it, and parents are mystified by the contraptions. This is sort of like performance art, but the kids become the performers.
