A privately owned upscale gift shop located approximately 40 miles south of Buffalo. We opened in 1999 when we bought an old country building on the corner of Route 16 and Genessee Road in Chaffee, NY, and formerly known as The Butternut Inn which was a bed and breakfast.
The name Merry Meeting Shoppe and our logo was dedicated to my mother who passed away in 1993 of ALS.
Over the years we have made many changes to the building including two additions. These additions were constructed with the looks of the original building in mind so the additions flow together with the original house.
We carry lines of fine gifts for all occasions, and additionally we carry items that we have made. We have the reputation of "Country Elegant with a warm and friendly atmosphere".
WE are open 7 days a week, 9:30-5 with the exception of major holidays and severe winter weather conditions.
