Hello! Thank you for visiting Tangled Rope. I'm Maureen. My grandchildren call me Mimo, short for Mighty Mo, the name my 3 daughters call me.  (Yes, there's a story behind that for another time.)

After retiring from a long career as a Registered Nurse, I found idle hands just aren't my thing . One day, I started making a few Easter Baskets for family and realized how much I enjoyed each creation and wanting to do more.  As the baskets started to pile up in my sewing room, I expanded into placemats, coasters, various sized baskets and bowls, just to name a few of the items available for purchase.

Using coiled rope techniques, Tangled Rope offers an ever-growing suite of chic and practical products for your home of office – or your home office. Each piece is individually crafted with care.  Pieces can be customized to coordinate with your décor.
